Devkund waterfall is a hidden treasure of natural beauty so sureal that you'd have to rub your eyes to believe it exists.
It is located in the corner of dense jungle of tamhini ghat near Bhira Dam. The waterfall runs throughout the year & its beauty magnifies after monsoon, you'd get to see crystal clear bluish green water.
Trail to Devkund is so scenic, first you enter into dense jungle then you walk just by the beautiful Bhira dam. And thats not enough of it, there are two small ponds on the way where you can have fun & at last after small ascend through the dark jungle comes the gigantic Devkund Waterfall.
The height of the falls is around 220 ft. & depth of the pool formed under the falls is still a mystery. But the depth increases gradually so you can have fun in the shallow water.
Best Time To Visit The Devkund Waterfall Is The Post Monsoon Period. But you can enjoy in monsoon & summers as Well, since waterfall runs throughout the year and have enough water to have fun & chill.
It is located near Bhira, in Raigad district of Maharashra, India. It is said to be origin of Kundalika River.

Distance: 6.5 kms approx. (one sided)
Difficulty level: Easy (becomes tough in heavy monsoons since you have to cross three river streams)

For Pune : Reach Vile Village By ST Bus ( can get from Swargate / Chandani Chowk ) And From There You Can Hire A Car/Jeep. This Will Cost 200/- Rupees One-way & Upto 10 People Can Come In Jeep.
